Ironman competes 2 months after clavicle fracture

Lucy- osteotron EMS PhysioOsteotron LIPUS and Lucy are both winners!

You may remember our story about Lucy Gossage back in August this year. Well,  Lucy went on to win a podium position in the Ironman World Championships, just two months after fracturing her clavicle!

The EMS Physio team would all like to congratulate Lucy Gossage on her fantastic achievement. It was only two months ago that I first met Lucy, a couple of days after her bike accident in training for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Daily treatments followed with our Osteotron IV bone stimulation unit by LIPUS (Low Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound), for 8 weeks leadingRoy Bennett Area Sales Manager North EMS Physio 300x300px up to the big event on October 8th. An inspiration to us all, Lucy completed the Ironman course in 9th position…a stunning effort.

Thank you to  Lucy for contacting us, we wish you all the very best for your future careers in both triathlon and Medicine and hope to hear more good things about you in the future!”
