Join Professor Tim Watson for an Ultrasound Study Day (Theory & Practical)
A one day session on Therapeutic Ultrasound which includes the basics of what the modality actually is, what the evidence says that it can (and cannot) achieve.
We will be considering clinical doses and then move on to look at use of machines, treatment techniques using general and specific clinical examples which also includes a consideration of clinical precautions and contraindications.
The practical session will include demonstration and hands on experience using a variety of machines and a chance to practice with expert advice available.
This course would suit those who have not covered electrotherapy in their professional training or those who are looking for a comprehensive retraining or wanting to catch up following a career break.
