Description
Pre-Drainage Mode
This mode has been designed to immitate Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) to open the lymph nodes. Once the nodes have been opened, it allows easier drainage of excessive lymph and for the treatment to proceed.
Peristaltic Mode
Offers a gentle wave of inflation, working in a traditional Distal to Proximal manner. This method in lymph drainage is preferred by some patients as it offers greater comfort than Sequential inflation at the cost of overall effectiveness of reducing the limb size is lower.
Gradient Sequential Mode
The garment is inflated fully from Distal to Proximal . Once fully inflated the entire garment is deflated before the cycle repeats. This method offers a greater level of lymph drainage.
Combination Therapy
The Lymph 12 Pro has two modes which automatically combine the Pre-Drainage mode and the Peristaltic or Sequential modes. The benefit is that during a single treatment the limb is initially prepared by opening the lymph nodes and then automatically switches into the chosen lymph drainage mode.
Modes of the Lymph 12 Pro-
Mode 1: Fast Sequential
The garment is quickly inflated and deflated, repeating this cycle.
Mode 2: Slow Sequential
The garment is slowly inflated and deflated, repeating this cycle.
Mode 3: Pre – Drainage and Slow Sequential
The garment begins in Pre-Drainage mode which mimics MLD, and then goes on to a slow Sequential mode, inflating and deflating the whole garment slowly.
Mode 4: Fast Peristaltic
The garment quickly begins inflating from distal to proximal and as it inflates the next chamber, deflates the one before it to create a wave like effect.
Mode 5: Slow Peristaltic
The garment slowly begins inflating from distal to proximal and as it inflates the next chamber, deflates the one before it to create a wave like effect.
Mode 6: Pre-Drainage and Slow Peristaltic
The garment begins in Pre-Drainage mode which mimics MLD, and then goes in to a slow Peristaltic mode which as it inflates the next chamber, deflates the one before it to create a wave like effect.
Mode 7: Pre-Drainage
This mode mimics MLD.
